Well, well, well…where do we start? Well, some of you who know the Herman's really well, know that Cheryl-Anne had been searching for this 'golden gal' to help her manage the hospital, right? And it was kind of a tall order! You have to be sort of be a 'Jane Of All Trades' so to speak...take care of the clients, keep Dr. Herman organized, keep the hospital in tip-top shape, take care of the staff and the 'stuff', step in as a nurse from time to time...annnnnd help Cheryl-Anne relax! Sounds like a fairy tale involving unicorns and fairy dust 'huh? That’s what we thought! THEN...in skips 'lil Karen! She just floats in (she's so cute and small...she could float, we bet!) and whisks away the tasks and makes everyone feel 'fantastic'! So now we all really believe in unicorns, for sure!
On a logistic side, Karen is an original 'Jersey Girl'; but called Florida home for quite some time. She has worked in both the corporate sector and private practice setting (ditto for Dr. Herman!) in Florida and then finally re-located to Charlotte (phew!). Karen has a wealth of experience, a genuine heart and a crazy-big smile (for a 'lil gal!) Like most…Karen started in the kennels in her younger years and 'learned her way up' to Technician Assistant, then to Technician, then to Lead Technician, then to Practice Manager...finally to ‘The Herman's Forever Gal’!! Truly! So..."Jane Of All Trades", she was meant to be!
So, that's it in a nutshell. Since Karen came on the scene the whole darn place is just a singin' and we're whistling while we work!! (bet you wondered why your pet loves to hear a whistle now, 'huh?) So be sure to give her a warm welcome when you meet her. You’ll feel right at home when you do...and...well...we just feel really lucky.
