Amber has plans to be go to school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Dr. Herman has plans for Amber to go to school to become a Veterinarian.
Our world just became a little brighter when little Miss. Amber walked into the hospital. Amber has been with us for a year and originally applied to work in our kennels and started out doing just that...for a minute. Soon everyone realized that Amber could charm the pets and learn the ropes and has become a wonderful little cornerstone in our hospital, assisting Phyllis, DJ and Dr. Herman with calm and a smile! Phyllis has happily trained Amber to become a 'Jane of all trades' so to speak, and between Phyllis' working with her and Dr. Herman encouraging her to 'go the step further'... Amber has dove right in and worked alongside the technicians and doctors with confidence ever since! Amber has the patience of a saint (except the buck stops with the Herman's hermit crabs..thanks for keeping them alive Phyllis!) and isn't really all that rattled by even the 'newest of challenges' (she's even a pro with giving bunny lovins'!) and so we keep dreaming up ways to actually one day raise her eyebrow. Not sure it'll happen!
Amber is a good student (key for Dr. Herman's big plans) and works with us part time during the school year. She enjoys her down-time on the week-ends and spending time with her family. She's an all around great gal and we sure feel lucky to have found her.
Be sure to go out of your way to meet her next time you're in. And ask her how those pre-vet courses are going while you're at it? Dr. Herman would be most grateful.
